It happened to another Z he worked on, but I dont think banging it out worked. I may see if they can do that stud thing and pull it out. I'm just not sure if either place can do it. Right now my car is at a performance shop. They installed my intercooler piping, SAFC and pillar gauges. So, I dont know if they'll do that. My mechanic is a few blocks away, but I still have to tow it there. Worse case scenario is buying a new pan and having it installed. Pans are expensive!! I'm assuming a TT engine needs a TT pan correct ? I've seen N/A pans for cheaper.
Do you know if there is a way to know for sure if it is just the pan and not something else without having to take off the pan first ?
